I’ve always wanted to live in the future. There’s just something about it which makes it so much cooler than the current reality. Recently I started wondering what makes depiction of the future so futuristic. I found that the future is actually made of what is familiar to us in the present. The only different is that this familiarity is used or rendered in a different way to what we are accustomed too. Notice the sleek landscape and how strange it seems to have such a vast area of it. Also, pay attention to the structures in this video and how they are slightly tweaked to give them a futuristic appeal – light floors anyone?
